Terms
Last updated 26 October 2026
These terms cover buying and using Deft. If anything here clashes with consumer law where you live, that law wins.
Who we are
Deft is a bundle of senior-role skills for AI coding tools. Email: support@deftskills.dev.
Deft is sold by Polar (Polar Software, Inc.), its reseller and merchant of record. You pay Polar, and Polar handles the payment, tax, receipt and refunds under its buyer terms. These terms cover what you can do with Deft itself.
This site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (cloudflare.com).
What you get
One download with 11 skills for Claude Code and Codex, and a short setup guide. Every skill is a plain text file you can read.
The price is $49, paid once. In most countries tax is included. In the US, Canada and India, tax is added at checkout.
When we improve a role, the new version appears on your buyer page at no extra cost, for as long as we sell Deft.
Your licence
Buying Deft gives you a licence to use it. You may:
- use Deft on your own projects and on work for your clients;
- change the files for your own use;
- keep using the version you bought, even if we stop selling Deft.
You may not:
- share, sell, publish or give away the files, the zip, your download link or your key;
- put Deft, or parts of it, into skills, prompts or templates that you offer to others.
One purchase is for one person. A team needs one purchase for each person who uses it.
What Deft does, and what it doesn’t
The skills are instructions for AI coding tools. The work is done by the AI tool you run them in, so results can vary.
Check what the AI changes before you publish it. You are responsible for your site, your code and your client work.
You need your own Claude Code or Codex account. Those tools come from Anthropic and OpenAI, under their own terms. Deft is not made by, or linked to, either company.
Cancelling and refunds
Deft is delivered instantly, so every purchase is final once it’s downloaded. You confirm this at checkout. The details are on the Refunds page.
If Deft is faulty or not as described, consumer law protects you. We’ll fix or replace it, and if we can’t, you get your money back.
Who owns what
We own the Deft files and keep all rights in them. Your purchase gives you the licence above, not ownership.
What you make with Deft is yours.
Liability
We make Deft with care, but we can’t promise it suits every project. As far as the law allows, our total liability is the price you paid.
This limit doesn’t apply where the law forbids it, for example for fraud, or for death or injury caused by negligence. It doesn’t affect your rights as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, buyers hear about it by email at least 30 days before it applies. A change never takes away rights you already have for a purchase you made.
Law and disputes
These terms follow the law of Hungary. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the law where you live, and you can go to court there.
Most problems are quicker to sort out by email, so please write to us first: support@deftskills.dev.
