How we tested
Each test sent the same request three ways: with Deft, with the best free skill we found for this job, and with no skill at all.
The judges were AI agents, not people. They saw the three results as A, B and C with every skill name removed, and scored five qualities out of 10 each, 50 in all.
The quality scores at the top are averaged over the tests and rounded.
How we picked the free skill: picked from the free design skills we studied because it covers screen states, motion and edge cases and fixes the code itself; run at full strength.
The businesses are made up. Each result is that version’s own work, unedited, from the request shown.

A sign-up form
The request
I built my outdoor gear shop, Larch Supply, with an AI app builder. People keep giving up on the sign-up page, and the few who email me say the error messages make no sense. Can you fix the sign-up so people actually get through it?

The blind judge’s reasons
Deft kept every original field, fixed the phone menu fully and was the only one honest on the page when no account could be saved. The no-skill version had clear messages but removed the Confirm password field and showed success though nothing was saved. The free skill left a phone menu that cannot be closed and never told the owner that no accounts are saved yet.

An account settings screen
The request
The account settings page on my shop, Larch Supply, feels broken and customers find it confusing. One of them told me she couldn't tell whether anything she changed was actually saved. Can you sort it out?

The blind judge’s reasons
Deft was the only honest page: when nothing could be saved, it said so instead of showing a fake success, and it kept every setting and the look. The free skill had the most polished saving feel but showed "Saved" while nothing was stored. The no-skill version left a dead link, an export that can spin forever and many small tap targets on phones.

A booking form
The request
This is my physio clinic's website in Budapest. Lots of people start filling in the booking form but hardly anyone finishes, and I barely get any bookings. Can you fix it so people actually book?

The blind judge’s reasons
Deft fixed every planted form problem, kept the clinic page intact and was the most honest about the missing form service, though visitors need one extra click and its reply was long. The free skill had a well-guided form on the clinic's own look, but cards still lift and glow on hover and a double-click opens the email twice. The no-skill version looked cleanest but redesigned the whole page, dropped a field and claimed requests now reach the clinic, which was false.
